Smaller than standard Regular (ATO/ATC style) blade fuses, this fuse can control more circuits by occupying less space.

Ignition protected and filled with sand to cool vaporized metal that forms when the fuse blows, thus preventing it from ionizing and in turn stopping an arc from carrying current after the fusible link has melted.

Engineered to use in higher voltage systems that are designed to reduce the current requirements of modern vehicles with increasing power needs. Raising the voltage helps to reduce the size of the wiring and overall weight of vehicle helping to increase the efficiency and gas mileage.
